mail_services - Decomissioning of smtp-bulk.nildram.co.uk.

<p>In order to improve the SMTP service we are offering to customers we are urging users to use smtp.nildram.co.uk rather than smtp-bulk.nildram.co.uk

The bulk server is located on legacy hardware and due to the quantity of mail that is sent through it, major delays can be caused on customers emails.

smtp.nildram.co.uk is running on a cluster of servers which are able to handle huge quantities of mail. The current set up on these servers allows the below:

a. Max. Messages Per Connection: 100

b. Max. Recipients Per Message: 150

c. Max. SMTP Message Size: 32M

d. Max. Concurrent Connections From a Single IP: 2

The smtp-bulk.nildram.co.uk server address will be integrated into our existing SMTP platform in 7 days time.

Please be aware if you are wishing to send out mass mailings which do not comply with the above server restrictions, we would suggest that customers route this email through their own SMTP server.
